Definition:
adj. having a flat, horizontal surface
n. position as to rank or scale
v. to make horizontal, flat or even

First the adjective. The picture shows famous snooker player Steve Davis taking a shot.

The sentence reads: It’s impossible to play snooker if the table is not level!

Next the noun. The picture shows a competitor in a national downhill cycling competition.

The sentence reads: This was the first time he had competed on a national level.

Finally the verb. In the picture we see a bridge which has collapsed with a digger close by.

The sentence reads: Before starting reconstruction, the area had to be cleared and levelled.
