Tip #03: Take a Study Course – in English
Note: Not a study course teaching English. Rather a course teaching a skill you are interested in, which is prepared in the English language.
What are the benefits?

1. Your motivation will be high.
The study material is something you are interested in and by the end of the course you will have mastered certain skills. At the same time, you will be improving your English, doing so naturally while your focus is on the study material.

2. You will learn practical, natural English.
The study material will repeat many words and phrases specific to that subject, and you will understand the structure and framework of English. You can then use that knowledge and experience in a variety of contexts, not just the subject covered by the study material.

Writing in the Sciences
Introduction to Statis
Ask yourself, what skill what I like to develop, or what knowledge would I like to gain? Then use the search tool on coursera.org to find a course on that subject.
