Tip #01: Listen, Listen, Listen!
If you want to know how to learn English, think of how a baby learns a language. It’s not through studying grammar books! A baby learns by listening and imitating. So cooperate with the way your brain works.
Slide 4:
Sight and sound are processed in different parts of the brain. Did you know? More of the brain is devoted to sound (green area) than to sight (pink area)! In fact, the portion of the brain which stores the memory of sound touches more areas of the brain than any other.

So if you want to learn English, or improve your English, LISTEN to English at every opportunity.
You learn English with your ears!

The internet makes this very easy. At bbc.com you can find:
1 Minute News which summarizes the news headlines
6 Minute English which analyses words and phrases.
